Production Supervisor

Transglobal Door in Upper Sandusky and Carey, Ohio are searching for reliable Supervisor for both plants and 1st and 2nd shifts.
Duties: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in a manufacturing environment - Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met - Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles - Train and mentor production staff on proper assembly, fabrication, and use of precision measuring instruments - Oversee materials handling and inventory management to ensure efficient workflow - Collaborate with other departments to resolve any production issues or delays - Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing company policies and procedures Skills: - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory management - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Basic math skills for calculations and measurements - Experience working with hand tools and power tools This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to effectively communicate with team members, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.
