We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mowing Technician to join our team.
As a Mowing Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance, repair, and installation.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
*```Responsibilities```*
- Completes daily mowing routes consisting of mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and blowing off hard surfaces on residential and commercial properties
- Ability to work as a team to complete all assigned work to your crew in an efficient manner
- Knowledge of best practice lawn maintenance techniques with a strong attention to detail
- Performs daily routine maintenance & safety inspections on vehicle and equipment, as well as keeping everything clean in order to maintain a professional appearance
- Interacts with customers to address and document any questions or concerns, as well as communicating those concerns to Manager
- Other tasks as necessary and/or needed in Mowing department or any other departments due to lack of, or a need for, additional manpower
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, or extreme heat and cold
- Involvement in Snow Removal during winter months is expected and required.
To include: plowing, sidewalk snow removal using shovels and/or snow blowers, applying salt and other deicing materials to paved surfaces, as well as assisting with pre-storm preparedness and post-storm cleanup
*```Requirements/Qualifications```*
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and dependable
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable operating stand-on and zero-turn mowers as well as hand held trimmers and blowers
- Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs.
and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Occasionally working on weekends if needed due to weather
