*Job Overview:*
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/Construction Worker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various structures, equipment, and systems to ensure functionality and longevity.
This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance.
* Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues or potential problems.
* Repair or replace damaged or faulty components and systems, including doors, windows, flooring, and fixtures.
* Assist in the construction and renovation of buildings, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
* Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
* Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
* Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
*Requirements:*
* Proven experience as a Maintenance/Construction Worker or similar role.
* Solid understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.
