Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Assistant with strong data management skills to join our dynamic production team.
As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will play a crucial role in supporting various production processes and ensuring efficient operations.
Your expertise in Excel will be essential for data analysis, reporting, and optimizing production workflows.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Management and Analysis:
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to organize, manipulate, and analyze production data.
- Create and maintain comprehensive spreadsheets to track production metrics, inventory levels, and work-in-progress.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas for improvement through data analysis.

Production Support:
- Collaborate with production managers to coordinate and schedule manufacturing activities based on demand and resource availability.
- Assist in monitoring production workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and suggesting process enhancements for increased efficiency.
- Generate/update production reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel to facilitate decision-making

Inventory Management:
- Track raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory levels using Excel-based tools.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely production reports, performance summaries, and quality control documentation.
- Develop Excel templates for standardized reporting formats, ensuring consistency and clarity in communication.

Quality Control:
- Assist in monitoring product quality by maintaining records of quality checks, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Use Excel to perform data analysis on quality metrics to identify trends and patterns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure smooth production operations.
- Share insights and reports derived from Excel analyses with relevant stakeholders to drive informed decisions.
- Occasionally cover overlapping areas of responsibility such as order entry, shipping/receiving, cost accounting, etc.

Process Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimization and suggesting data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to the implementation of new tools, technologies, and best practices that enhance manufacturing processes.
