*Set up Welder Fabricator* *Position Overview:* Fitting and welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process.
Preforms all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace.
Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting near misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all PPE and encouraging others to do the same.
Pay Type: Hourly Pay Rate: $18-$23.

· Understanding of material properties & characteristics of critically used materials such as metals, fittings and fasteners · Knowledge of steel fabricating and plumbing · Knowledge of shop tools, machinery, and equipment (ie: press brake, shear, ironworker, saws, drills, plasma, overhead crane, fork truck) · Able to work independently and with other welders and laborers · Able to MIG weld horizontally and overhead · Able to lift 40#, minimum · Able to clean up after themselves and maintain an orderly work area · Priority setting to ensure deadlines are met and goals are achieved · Able to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form · Familiarity with the metric system · Able to perform shop math; convert decimals to fractional equivalents, and fractions to decimal equivalents · Able to stand continuously for long periods of time · Willing to work 40+ hours a week · Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance · *Self-starter* with a strong work ethic, and good attendance *Tools Required: (after 90-day probationary period)* · Basic wrenches (standard and metric) under 1-1/4” · Basic sockets (standard and metric) under 1-1/4” · Allen wrenches · Torque sockets · Screwdrivers · Pliers · Punches/Chisels · Hammers · Squares · Levels under 2’ · Trouble lights · Wiring tools: strippers, crimpers · Small torch · Utility knife · Vice grips · Pry bars · Weld helmet & lenses · 3/8” Impact · 3/8” Air drill · Toolbox/cart · Face shield \* Any other tools needed to increase productivity.

\*\*\* All tools will be declared at start of employment and should be maintained by the employee.
\*\*\*\* Any employee abusing company-owned tools resulting in damage, will be required to repair or replace damaged item.
