PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To provide manufacturing with technical assistance in the production of a quality product at a reasonable cost through the monitoring of daily operations for conformance of standard practice, including keeping process controls within required specifications.
Maintain processes and troubleshoot problems to ensure the highest level of efficiency.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Promote effective communications to our external and internal customers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-SALES
Set-up and maintain new customer and part number information in our corporate systems (Glovia, ICaras)
Input price changes into our corporate systems (Glovia, ICaras)
Create and report weekly sales reports based on customer forecast and ordering information.
Support creation and completion of customer new model sample orders.
Complete customer surveys as required.
Such as minority sourcing, USMCA and similar reports
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-PURCHASING
Set-up and maintain new supplier information in our corporate systems (Glovia)
Update and maintain approved supplier documents such as ISO certifications, and contact lists.
Work with engineering and quality to maintain part revision information in corporate system
Monitor the status of purchase requisitions and orders, and help resolve any errors that my cause delays in delivery or completion of the order.
OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work alongside other departments to promote good communication and a problem-solving culture.
Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position It is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Standard work times are
Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
However, must be flexible with hours and days to accommodate business needs
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
GED with previous office work experience
1 year in sales or purchasing experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office and business management software such as Glovia
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2-Year degree in business or related field.
1+ years sales or purchasing experience
