Description
Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, the Financial Analyst role will work within the corporate accounting department to assist in cost collection, analysis, cash forecasting, reporting, and consolidation.
This role will also provide analytical support for forward-looking financial and business-related projects.
This role will require working closely with cross-functional departments and teammates to enhance communication and collect necessary data to assist in forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Duties
* Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.
* Prepare variance reports and projections based on financial data.
* Track production costs and prepare reports used in cash and production forecasting.
* Evaluate current and previous financial data.
* Assist Sr.
Financial Analyst with Consolidation Reporting
* Prepare journal entries
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements and Skills
* 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance
* Experience with manufacturing cost accounting preferred
* Analytical skills to process large amounts of information
* Verbal and written communication skills
* Computer skills to effectively use software (Excel) to analyze financial information.
* Decision-making skills to provide recommendations
* Attention to detail when reviewing financials
