Mechatronics Technician - 3rd Shift

*PRIMARY FUNCTION:* To keep production equipment and systems operating in a safe and efficient manner.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on production equipment · Support engineering departments in implementation of machine modifications as well as installation and start-up of new equipment · Install electrical, compressed air and other utility runs for new or existing equipment · Perform preventative maintenance and continuous improvement duties · Adjust and calibrate mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems · Perform basic machining/fabricating duties as required for machine/tool repair · Facilities repair and maintenance · May specialize in specific maintenance functions · Utilize Express Maintenance daily to enter in daily work & assignments · Maintain 3S standards to ensure a safe work environment.
Support safety, health and environmental commitments that the company makes · Other duties as assigned *REQUIREMENTS:* · 2 year.
Technology degree or journeyman card preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required · Minimum of 5 yrs.
Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and or machine repair · Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machine wiring, and industrial electrical systems · Basic PLC programming skills · Basic machining skills · Physically capable of lifting and manipulating heavy objects.
Capable of maneuvering in, on and around industrial equipment · Ability to work in heat · Lockout tag out & Arch Flash awareness · Fire Extinguisher, Fire Response and Fire Brigade training required within 1 year of date of position Job Type: Full-time Pay: $29.
