Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, quality control systems, optimizing production efficiency, and launching new products.
This is a key role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Developing 2D and 3D modeling of new and existing products (Solidworks and Draft sight)
- Design and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for new products
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance production efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct root cause analysis for process failures or product defects and implement preventive measures
- Utilize robotics, process engineering, and industrial equipment to automate manufacturing processes.
Cobot and robotics experience is preferred.
- Assisting in estimating new products
- Create and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes, including work instructions, standard operating procedures and bills of materials.
- Provide technical support to production teams and assist in troubleshooting equipment or process issues.
Flat fiber optic cutting laser (Mittsubishi) experience is preferrred.
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for designing fixtures and tooling is required.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and principles is preferred
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards
- Experience in programming industrial equipment (CNC, Flat Lasers, Robotic Welding) is a plus
- APQP product launch process experience is preferred
