SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Training Coordinator collaborates with Operations Management and Human Resources to identify training requirements and institute plans for training new and existing employees.
Additionally, the Training Coordinator has familiarity with instructional methods and skill development.
They use these skills to support the rest of the team to help ensure all employees are working efficiently and to company standards.
As a Training Coordinator, your primary focus is creating training programs for our hourly manufacturing associates.
You will work closely with our HR, Safety, and Production teams to lead the creation of Standard of Work Instructions (SWI) and coordinate training timetables with production department management, with a responsibility to oversee the administration of employee training within our manufacturing facility.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Planning, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating training systems and policies for manufacturing processes.
Coordinates, facilitates, administers, monitors, and evaluates the effectiveness of training efforts and implements corrective action as necessary.
Partners with department leadership to assess instructional effectiveness by determining the impact of training on employee skills and the impact on KPIs.
Works with management to identify, plan, align, and address training needs.
Understand and evaluate training processes needed to impact production operations directly.
Trains employees on SOPs, company policy, safety, and regulatory guidelines and changes.
Creates and maintains compliant training records and files and ensures training schedules and documentation are updated by laws, regulations, and company SOPs.
Monitors new hire training and ensures timely completion and effectiveness of training, including the deployment of new hire on-boarding, coordinating schedules, and follow-up with the Designated Trainer responsible for movement.
Performs duties as a Designated Trainer, including conducting on-the-job and certification training for new and existing employees to meet regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES): High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
Experience in training, a Designated Trainer role, or an education role is required.
Must have completed documentation of appropriate training before performing duties independently and training staff.
Able to make accurate and complete documentation.
