LEWP has an opening in our Sales & Engineering Department for a *Sr Design Engineer* position.
The Sr Design Engineer will play a pivotal role providing precast and cast-in-place reinforcing steel designs to current building codes and the specifications of the company's equipment and welders.
This role demands a Professional Engineer with a proven track record in managing substantial projects and deep understanding of the engineering and design principles in a high-capacity manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead engineering design projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and business goals
* Estimate productivity of mesh styles for pricing recommendations
* Work closely with production and sales to align engineering designs with market demands and company capabilities
* Document QC issues and communicate with customers and internal sales and production staff to resolve issues
* Participate in industry associations
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's in Engineering
* Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
* Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering design with significant experience in project management
* Demonstrated experience in production of wire mesh
* Familiarity with production equipment and material configurations
* Knowledge of ASTM material specifications an ACI building code requirements
* AutoCAD
* Salesforce CRM
* Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $112,000.
00 - $145,000.
