*Shift:* *3rd shift* 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM *Job Description* Directs and coordinates activities of the Molding Department in the processing of materials or manufacturing of products in accordance with daily production goals.
Position functions include, but are not limited to, those set forth below.
*Essential Functions* * Establish priorities for manufacturing and production of PFT Blow Molding and Locknut Injection Molding operations to meet inventory requirements according to the Master Schedule produced by Production Control.
* Directs the work of the Blow Molding and Injection Molding Associates through the Coordinators; includes training, performance management, PTO and No Pay/No Penalty approval and tracking; approval of time.
* Analyzes area capacity and performance capabilities; including people, parts, and processes.
* Plans and schedules workflow according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
* Confers with Senior Managers to determine status of assigned projects.
* Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
* Coordinates material, tools, and equipment needs.
* Supervises manufacturing activities to meet quantity and quality requirements in daily production.
* Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum equipment utilization.
* Develops and ensures compliance with operational standards and policy adherence.
* Coordinates, stores, and retrieves data relevant to production.
* Evaluate processes and downtime to determine appropriate course of action.
* Assists in the development and management of Molding Department Business Plan, Budget, and reports progress via Management Review.
* Identifies opportunities and leads cost-down activities.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Competencies* * Must be able to analyze information and make informed decisions regarding daily production needs, including manpower, quality, and operational efficiencies.
* Must be reliable in attendance.
* Must be able to work successfully in a team environment.
* Must have a basic understanding of environmental management and proper disposal of wastes.
* Must have a good understanding of handling glycol and waste oil as well as a good understanding of storm water pollution prevention and spill prevention and countermeasure control.
*Supervisory Responsibilities* Position supervises the Molding Department.
Makes decisions which affect the employment of Associates; includes interviewing, hiring, promoting, and termination activities.

*Education and/or Experience* * Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Physical Demands* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
* Exposure to excessive heat from the manufacturing process.
* Exposure to excessive noise levels requires hearing protection.
* Requires long periods of time standing, bending, walking, and climbing stairs.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
* May be required to lift up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.
* Requires reaching and handling.
*Work Environment* The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
* Protective eyewear, including side-shields must be worn at all times in the plant.
* Hearing Protection must be worn in the Blow Mold Department at all times.
* Steel-toed shoes must be worn at all times in the plant.
* Other PPE as determined by job requirements.
* Primary environment: cold or warm temperatures according to outside weather conditions.
* Regular shifts are 40 hours per week.
Overtime as required to meet the needs of production.
Note: The company has a mandatory overtime policy that may include Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday work.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.
00 - $70,000.
