*Job Description:- *The Packaging Operator I role is the entry level Position.
This role is responsible for packaging, cleaning, and relieving for breaks.
This role will primarily work in the production area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Spotting out-bound trucks into material load docks, ensuring dock-locks
* Reclaiming off-quality Unbonded Loosefill and refeeding the material to the forehearth
* Packaging operator placing bags on bagger equipment snouts ensuring proper packaging of finished goods material
* Performs general cleanup duties in designated areas (including, but not limited to, sweeping floor, blowing
* down the line/robot, cleaning break rooms, etc.
).
* Assist with Preventative Maintenance processes
* Perform special needs as determined by plant staff
* Participates in safety and housekeeping programs as established within the plant.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
* 1 – 3 years manufacturing experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English
* Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
* Must possess strong communication and organizational skills
* Must have the ability to multi-task
* Must have strong internal and external customer service skills
* Must work well in team environment
* Must be able to work independently
* Must have to ability to do intermediate mathematical calculations
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
