Up for sale is a Wildwood Guitars special edition “Thin Skin” Fender AVRI 52 Tele.
Special run with a 1 piece ash body and a very thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish (thus the name).
Fortunately, this one hasn’t suffered the fate of many of the thin skin instruments - very clean, with no chips in the finish
Big, beefy 50’s Tele neck profile - nearly 1” thick at the 12th fret.
This one does have some more modern specs for playability, though - neck radius is 9.

Part of what made this a special edition was the humbucker in the neck - a Duncan 59 that I didn’t love (wasn’t that crazy about the stock bridge pickup as well).
So both pickups were changed to Arcane pickups - a 59 Experience in the bridge, and a Gold Foil in the neck.
Much, much better - the 59 is what a tele bridge should sound like, and the gold foil strikes a great balance between single coil and humbucker sounds.

It comes with all the factory case candy and accessories (cable,strap, bridge cover, etc.
), most of it unopened.
The tweed case is also in excellent condition.
