Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
Initiate, coordinate, and oversee center-level training, including new hire orientation, SOP revisions, CAPA training, annuals, and specialized training to meet center and regulatory requirements
Review and ensure compliance of plasma center personnel training documents with Company procedures, SOPs, CLIA/COLA, and other relevant standards
Collaborate with Center Management to design and execute continuous improvement plans
Maintain the center's Safety Program, ensuring implementation and adherence to safety training and practices
Monitor and evaluate employee performance, partnering with center management to implement individual development strategies
Provide necessary resources for employee success, including training equipment, manuals, and troubleshooting guides
Assess on-the-job performance, identify skill gaps, and create training content to address training needs
Evaluate training effectiveness through employee observations and assessments
Assist in selecting, training, and developing the center's Designated Trainers
Maintain training records, assess program effectiveness, and recommend enhancements
Track and report employee training participation and assessment outcomes, organizing monthly training calendars and arranging internal or external training sessions
Coordinate training materials and facilities, both physical and virtual, for training sessions
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a subordinate group and potentially act as a lead or firstlevel supervisor
Foster open communication with management, offering one-on-one coaching and support to address individual learning needs
Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization
Serve as a training resource for employees, addressing inquiries and promoting learning
Select appropriate training tools and delivery methods based on content and audience
May be responsible for maintaining and assisting others with the use of the Learning Management Systems (LMS), Electronic Donor Management System (eDMS), and Master Control
Learn and maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, Standard Operating Procedure Manual, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), and internal Company Procedures

Qualifications
Associates degree or Equivalent preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a highly regulated environment preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory leadership experience responsible for overseeing the activities of others preferred
Requirements
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to teach other concepts, tasks, and processes
Proven ability to successfully ensure transfer of training from the learning environment to the work environment
Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner
Creates an environment that fosters learning
Proven ability to effectively facilitate and train in an environment that may be subject to outside distractions and session interruptions
Excellent human relations, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
Planning Skills with the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks, short deadlines, and shifting priorities in support of changing company objective
Regular attendance and arriving on time to all scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings
Ability to work with a team and collaborate with others
Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information
Conducts themselves in a professional, polished, and sharp image while embracing and advocating for the core values of Immunotek
Physical Requirements
Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
Frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching above the shoulders and below the knee
Ability to train in plasma collection areas
Ability to stand for extended periods for up to four (4) hours at a time
Ability to sit for extended periods for up to (4) hours at a time and view a computer screen
Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds
Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws including, but not limited to, ADA, Civil Rights, EEOC, FDA, GHA, HIPAA, and OSHA Work Environment
A typical work environment with moderate noise level
May be exposed to freezing temperatures for short periods of time
Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens
