e.
, portals, template, email submission mailbox, etc.
) Manage interactions with other departments including commercial, customer service and sales teams Collections Execute a successful collections management strategy for a variety of customer profiles and implement collections KPI's for maximum effectiveness and team productivity Administration and Reporting Provide answers to all internal and external receivables inquiries in a timely and professional manner Preparing weekly & monthly reporting including: Credit hold reports New credit application reports Bad debt reports Aged accounts receivable ERP Management and Implementation Manage existing ERP and lead liaison with IT for day-to-day optimization of the ERP Serve as a leader in the ERP implementation process for AR related processes, including streamlining AR processes and ensuring data accuracy while adhering to project timelines and budgets Month end processes Collaborate with Corporate Accounting on journal entry preparation and approval, monthly reconciliations, and reserve analysis Develop and assist with departmental, and accounts receivable process improvements Calculate, accrue, reconcile to general ledger and work with payroll to pay commissions Perform and analyze bank reconciliations Coordinate submission of accounts receivable requests for the annual audit Ad-hoc other duties as required and necessary to support the business A strong Accounts Receivable Manager will possess: Minimum of 4 years of billing, accounts receivable, collections experience in a high-volume environment across multiple legal entities At least 2 years managerial experience is preferred Strong knowledge and experience with accounting systems / ERPs Experience in a manufacturing business Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Experience with BillTrust or similar accounts receivable software Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related major is required Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reports Reliability in managing email traffic and meeting deadlines Must work well in a high paced team environment Intermediate level experience with Excel and Microsoft Office applications Initiative-taker able to influence, coach and persuade at the highest levels of the business Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism Safety at CNG: Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way Physical Work and Work Environment: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
