We are Henderson Products, Inc.
, a Division of Douglas Dynamics, located in Bucyrus, OH.
We are in search of someone with strong leadership skills to provide direction, guidance, and oversight to our highly skilled truck installation team.
You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate installation and delivery of product at the rate and specifications required by the customer on a regular basis.
Here are the details:
Understand and ensure the team has what it needs to install, repair, troubleshoot, etc.
the truck builds to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Provide necessary employee training to achieve above expectations
Ensure team is set-up daily with parts, tools and supplies to perform their work on a daily basis
Understand and ensure accurate inventory, movement and scrap reporting
Communicate effectively with the team providing accurate and timely information affecting them and their work
Help resolve issues quickly to maintain productivity
Participate in, train, and support DDMS and Continuous Improvements throughout the facility on an ongoing basis.
Identify and help implement solutions/improvements to reduce costs for supplies and products.
Communicate issues/items not being resolved in work group to reporting supervisor for assistance
Ensure shop cleanliness and orderliness of all work areas
Responsible for other duties and work as needed that may not be mentioned above.
Qualifications Necessary
Mechanical Skills: Knowledge and practical experience of the processes/operations of assigned work area to properly install components and equipment.
Must be open to needed training, certifiable in Fork Truck operations.
Helpful to have CDL license.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand work order processes and blueprints.
Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, electronics.
Must understand shop order process, reporting and basic EMS system requirements.
Must understand weld inspection, types/gauges of steel, and shop math
Personal Requirements: Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Excellent problem solving skills, ability to work well with internal and external customers; good communication skills a must; ability to lift 50# with continuous lifting of lightweight materials.
High energy team player.
Must be dependable and able to work extended hours.
Education: High school graduate required; Associate Degree from Vocational/Trade school preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications Preferred:
First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
