POSITION: Paraprofessional II (LEAP) (Bus Paraprofessional-Special Assignment)
6:45 am – 8:45 am & 1:30 pm – 3:45 pm, 190 Days/Year
This position is a one-year, non-renew contract for the 2024-2025 school year.
ROUTE: LEAP Program at Crestview Schools
Qualifications: Must have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher learning, OR hold an associate’s degree, OR have passed the Teacher Parapro praxis exam.
Must possess experience working with children with multiple and behavioral disabilities.
Some heavy lifting required.
Must complete CPI and Safety & Violence Training within the first 60 days of accepting position.
Must obtain an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Qualifications through ODE prior to the first day of employment.
SPECIAL NOTES: Position requires the ability to work with special needs students.
Physical ability to handle wheel chairs and other equipment related to special needs students.
The student’s family may elect to stop their student attending school at any given time during this school year.
This would void the contract.
COMPENSATION RANGE: Per the terms of the Negotiated Agreement
