The Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Ashland University (AU) has an opportunity for an energetic and goal-oriented individual looking for an exciting career move.
Serving as a member of the Enrollment Management and Marketing team, the Senior Admissions Representative reports to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions and will have the support of the AU admissions, marketing and retention teams, as well as the college dean, faculty and staff, to develop and implement program-specific enrollment strategies aligned with AU’s Strategic Enrollment Plan.
Essential Position Duties:
Design and implement tactics to attract a qualified pool of candidates focusing on a highly personalized experience with an emphasis on the campus visit.
Develop strong relationships with faculty, staff, student groups, and university partners to involve them in the campus visit experience, enrollment initiatives, and other programming.
Recruit, train, and manage a team of student ambassadors to represent CONHS and to engage with prospective students and their families.
Collaborate with Enrollment Management and Marketing and retention teams to create and maintain effective and compelling marketing strategies to engage prospective and retain currently enrolled CONHS students.
Analyze the effectiveness of recruitment and retention activities for the college and develop new strategies based on industry best practices to achieve enrollment goals.
Work with Marketing and Communications to update college web pages, develop print and electronic communications, and maintain an active social media presence.
Coordinate and present at campus visits throughout the year, including individual visits, open houses, Future Eagle events, and other group visit opportunities.
Travel to area high schools, attend college fairs, and visit regional healthcare providers to recruit students and develop recruitment pipelines.
Maintain knowledge of current financial aid policies and procedures for Federal, State and Institutional aid including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Support all undergraduate and graduate recruitment and yield efforts for the college.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution
Effective interpersonal communications, public speaking, and writing skills
Willingness to work evenings, weekends as needed
Ability to work unsupervised
Evidence of collaboration within a campus community
Willingness to travel to recruitment events
Must have a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Previous college recruitment experience preferred, but not required.
Will consider previous experience in sales, etc.
Experience with Technolutions Slate a plus
